Join Dana's Fight and Bucket List Dream

My dear friend and fellow Chiver, Dana/NotChive24/7 recently received some heart breaking news, and as we were discussing it and trying to lift his spirits, he mentioned his bucket list.

I would like to help make as much of that happen as possible.

I asked him to write a synopsis of what is going on, in his own words, (see below) and then ask y’all are to help

make it happen.

From Dana:

“Hello friends and assorted perverts, weirdos, and water heads. I'm proud to say I've been a Chiver since the beginning in Venice Beach. TheChive has brought into my life a LOT of humor and good times. I even made it to the Black Coin Dinner and the Green Gala a couple years ago. I've not been around much lately due to some personal issues, health issues, and I got married 6 weeks ago. Several awesome Chivers flew into TN to attend my wedding and made it just the best day ever. But. sometimes life just gives you a swift kick in the teeth and now it's my turn to take the hit. I've survived 28 operations, lung cancer, and a stroke, but now I think I've been dealt a hand I don't think I can win. About 2 months ago I was diagnosed with metastic stage 4 carcinoma. My oncologist gave me 12-18 months until my expiration date. I started immunotherapy 2 weeks ago and next week I start radiation. This is not a cure, but it might buy me a few more months. I think most people have a bucket list and I'm no different. I'd like to see some things I've always wanted to see while I'm above the dirt. Who doesn't want to see the Redwood National Forest, Yellowstone, The Grand Canyon, and also visit some Chivers along the way ? (Not Spicydad, that guy is weird and I didn't shit right for a week) I am currently accepting all good thoughts and prayers. Being told you're going to die is weird. It's depressing and scary but at the same time, my heart is filled with love for all my friends (especially you chiverbob) family and my new most excellent wife.
