Join Dakota's Battle: Ease Family Burden

I have been requested by many to create a gofundme for my family. As many may know, on Tuesday, May 20, 9yr old Dakota Provost was rushed from Medical Center Barbour to Piedmont hospital in Columbus. Here we were told Dakotas appendix had bursted, she had 3 large abscess that needed to be drained, and the infection in her body was growing. Dakota was taken into surgery to get drains placed where she aspirated and was put on a ventilator, and life flighted to children’s hospital in Birmingham. Here she has been getting intensive care in the PICU. As Dakota has been in the hospital over a week, and is estimated another 2-3 week stay, parents Nick and Trista are faced with financial and mental battles. Before this emergency, Trista’s car had been involved in an accident, requiring her to get a rental car. The rental is now due, and since they have been in the hospital, we need another rental car as well. 3 kids are left home alone during this time ages 18,14, and 4. We are requesting donations to cover expenses for the 3 kids at home, hospital stay and care, rental and gas prices, ect. Everyone in the community has been SO generous and asked other ways they can help, which has brought us here. Thank you to everyone for their help and continue to pray pray pray.
