Brett is asking people to join her today in raising a few dollars for the local food pantry and other community groups “that help people who need it most.”

We were watching CBS Sunday Morning today and they started discussing recent cuts to USAID and Head Start programs. She asked a few questions and then left the room. A minute later she came back with $12 from her savings and asked to donate it to help cover the cuts. A small gesture from a big heart of a 7 year old that we all could take a lesson from, especially on Easter.
