Hello everyone,

 

My name is Annedra Campbell, and I am a third-year sports management major at the University of Georgia. I am honored to be a contestant for the Beta Zeta's chapter of the Miss Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Scholarship Pageant. In this pageant, I am raising funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). This cause is deeply personal to me because during my sophomore year of high school, my mom, Predra Campbell, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer in bone marrow. This time was incredibly challenging for my family, as it was filled with treatments and endless hope. Thankfully, through determination, excellent medical care, and research organizations like LLS, my mom is now in remission.

 

LLS is a leading nonprofit dedicated to curing blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphomas, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma. They fund groundbreaking research, provide critical support for patients and their families, and advocate for access to life-saving treatments. Their mission is one I feel deeply connected to, as their efforts help people like my mom and countless others who face these battles every day.
