Hi, my name is Anna Griesbach. I am a Girl Scout working on my highest rank of getting my Gold Award. My project is focused on helping those who are homeless. In the United States alone, there are over 771,480 people who are homeless, and there has been a significant increase over the past years. What is really sad is the estimated number of 17,500 to 46,500 people who die yearly in the US who are homeless. But I am here hoping to make a change in those numbers. I am making plastic mats for homeless people to sleep on. This will give them something more comfortable to sleep on and more protection from the elements. The only thing is it takes quite a bit of Tyvek to make these mats, so I need some of your support to help these homeless people out. Please help support me by giving a little bit so I can help more people who are stuck on the streets, and help support the homeless shelters.
