Hi, I am Aaron and I am raising money to help survivors of the October 7th attacks at the Nova and Re'im music festivals in Israel. This was a massacre that occurred on October 7th and many people died including teenagers like myself.
As part of my Bar Mitzvah, I am trying to raise awareness about the trauma that festival survivors have endured since of Oct. 7th. Since that day, many survivors have suffered with terrible PTSD. Some of them have taken their own lives, thinking that was their only escape from the pain.
Safe Heart is an Israeli organization that specifically helps festival survivors deal with the trauma of the attacks and the stress and heartbreak of so many hostages still being held in captivity. Safe Heart is a non-profit organization established to support survivors of traumatic events, particularly those from the trace music community and music festivals, through emergency mental health services. Safe Heart brings together a professional network of clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, clinical social workers, psychotherapists, and qualified clinical instructors with experience in trauma and psychedelic harm reduction.
I hope you join me in supporting Safe Heart. I am hoping to raise $1800 but even better if we can raise more.
