I was blessed to spend my 30th birthday on a medical mission trip, serving and helping the people of guatemala. Watching these resilient people get discharged after their surgical procedures with smiles on their faces and hugs of gratitude warmed my heart and put into perspective why I became a nurse.

Seven years later, the opportunity has arisen for me to go back to Guatemala in October to serve in a medical capacity with Love Beyond Borders AR and I am so excited!
