John's Box Hill Climbing Challenge for Sense UK
I'm raising money in aid of Sense, a charity that helps thousands of people who are deafblind or who have complex disabilities to communicate, experience the world and fulfil their potential.
I'll be doing this by attempting some ridiculous cycling. I'm taking part in Sense's Box Hill Superclimb Challenge and will be attempting to cycle up Box Hill in Surrey 25 times in one day on Sunday 22 September 2024. This is a climb of 4,225m (or, if you prefer, 13,862 ft). This equates to the height of 14 Eiffel Towers stacked one on top of the other (or, if you prefer, 28 Blackpool Towers, 44 Big Bens or 2,456 Tom Cruises).
Every donation will help Sense make a difference to people's lives. So go on, dig deep, giz some brass. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this brilliant cause.
Sense is a national charity that supports people who are deafblind, have sensory impairments or complex needs, to enjoy more independent lives. More information can be found about their work on their website https://www.sense.org.uk/
