Johnny's Journey to Family Reunification

My brother in law Johnny has been fighting to bring his kids home for 2.5 years. Currently in the trial process due to being a non-custodial parent. Meaning the state of Minnesota doesn't recognize him as having parental rights even though he's been present, cared for, and provided for his children during the whole time leading up to them being taken by no actions of his own.

During this separation, the children have faced many setbacks at no fault of their own. Not only has it been emotionally hard on the kids to be away from their parents, they have endured physical abuse under the care of Washington County.

Johnny has faced many setback during this challenging time and has never gave up his fight for his kids. It looks like there's a very good chance for his daughter to come home soon and after 2.5 years needs to completely update their clothes, toys, day to day basics, school stuff, etc. Johnny has faced many setback during this challenging time and has never gave up his fight for his kids.

During this time, the kids have not been able to spend time with our families. We seen this kids consistently prior and have missed out on holidays and birthdays. We've missed out on creating memories with this kids that are so loved.

Despite working full time during this legal process for the Red Cross and picking up side gigs when possible, this legal battle and vehicle issues has drained his savings and financial security blanket..... He has recently his 4 deer with his vehicle and his vehicle has taken a beating on top of all of his legal expenses and day to day living.

We are looking to raise money to fix his vehicle or get a new one. Buy the kids new clothes and other essential items they will need coming back home. Ensure a little safety net of bills being paid or an emergency fund to give some peace and security.

There have been holidays and birthdays missed not due to him that he would like to make up for. Additonally would like to have a nice welcome celebration after this extremely challenging time for his family.

Anything at this point would help make this transition back into normalcy easier for Johnny and his kids and get them back on the financial and emotional security they need.
