Hi, I’m working with my family on this fundraiser to help my brother John and his wife Sharon with their rent and bills as they both have undergone major medical procedures at the same time.

Last month John went to urgent care after not feeling well for over a week, he was short of breath and felt horrible. It was not covid and they said "go to the ER!" He was really struggling and went home to rest. He finally went to the ER at about 3am the next morning.

Long story short, he was admitted and they found a massive infection in his thoracic cavity pressing on his heart and other organs, if he would have waited another minute, he could have died. He was in the ICU for several weeks with doctors trying to figure out what was going on, they had never seen anything like it! He finally had surgery to remove the mass of infectious material and they ended up having to open his chest to remove it all. He's finally out of the hospital and recovering at home on IV antibiotics and very limited activities.

John has always been a hard worker and his job is very labor intensive, so he won't be going back to work for a few months or even longer.

While he was in the hospital, his wife Sharon fell and broke her hip!! She underwent surgery, stayed in rehab for a week and is finally home, getting better every day.

This money will help them pay rent for up to 3 months, buy some groceries and help with bills. They live in Arizona and the cost of living there is ridiculous.
