John & Kaye Smith Memorial Canal Walk

We are holding a canal walk in memory of John & Kaye Smith on Saturday 27 July 2024.

Mum & Dad were both keen walkers & supported many charitable events over the years & this is just a little tribute to both of them.

We are starting at 1.30 pm on the Stratford-upon-Avon canal under the bridge beside the Horseshoe Inn (The Shoes), Alcester Road South, Kings Heath heading towards the Avon Ring & then turning right onto the Worcester & Birmingham Canal; pit Stop @ the Bristol Pear, Selly Oak & then carrying on up to the Mailbox in Town & then heading down to the Lamp Tavern, Barford Street for some refreshments; walking time approx. 3/4 hours (drinking time whatever you can manage!)

If you able are to join us we would be delighted, just let us know so we can inform the Lamp of numbers.

We are raising money in aid of St Vincent de Paul Society & thank you in advance if you are able to make a contribution to this worthy cause.
