Hi, my name is Toby, I'm 17 and I'm fundraising for my Grandad John (guy in the middle with glasses). Recently at the age of 72, he was diagnosed with MND (Moter Nuerons disease) which is a slow attack of the nervous system which eventually leads to a complete lack of body control.

John was given 3 years left to live.

As a family we asked him what he'd like to do with the time he has left, John being a simple man, replied with fishing and spending time with family. I came up with the idea of creating a Youtube video about John, a small documentary, which features all his unique and quirky traits.

What would you do if you knew you had a few years left to live, and knowing only a very small amount of that time you'd be able-bodied. I have this little window to help my grandpa have adventures that he wouldn't conceive as possible. John spent most of his adult life in service to others as a drug and alcohol counsellor and a missionary in Africa, I'm so proud of how he chose to use his time, and so now it's my turn to give him some wild fun. His bucket list is pretty simple, he wants to spend quality time with his family, fish, skydive and tell his stories so he's remembered. So you know why we're all here, I'm asking you to contribute to this adventure, I'd like to make a video out of our conversations and adventures. Any leftover donations will go towards an MND research foundation.
