Hello, my name is Steve Carson, and this GoFundMe is for my Dad, John Carson. On Monday, September 14, 2026, there was a house fire at his residence at 4649 Schinkal Rd. in Miami Township. Everything was a total loss, and this is to help take care of his immediate needs. While he has insurance, he doesn't have any clothes or shoes. He needs to replace his hearing aids, and key fobs for his cars. He is displaced from his housing and doesn't have any place to go. The house and contents are 100% total loss, and the house is not livable at all. He is not able to cook, so this fund will also help cover the cost of all the take-out meals that he needs to buy. The money that he had was scorched, and stores and banks won't accept it.
