Jogger Injured in Hit and Run
Donation protected
As many of you know, 22-year old Molly Viehweg was involved in a tragic hit-and-run accident by an uninsured motorist on Thursday, July 19, while out for a jog. As close friends of the family, and in response to an overwhelming amount of community support, we have decided to organize this fundraiser on her behalf.
As a result of the accident, Molly was left in critical condition, and her road to recovery is uncertain at the moment. She has been in an induced coma since undergoing surgery Thursday to treat blood clots in her brain; Molly’s skull is also fractured. The extent of any brain damage she may have suffered cannot be determined until she wakes up.
Molly is a vibrant, free-spirited young woman. She is deeply compassionate—her friends and family can speak volumes about her endless generosity and the light she exudes everywhere she goes. She loves to exercise, spend time with friends and family, and most of all, adores her dog, Georgie. She is a strong young woman, with her whole entire life ahead of her, and we wish to support her in this great time of need.
All funds received will be used to alleviate the financial strain brought on by Molly’s treatment. Any donation, big or small, is deeply and sincerely appreciated. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please pray for her recovery and share the link to this cause.
