I am usually not one to ask for help, but when it comes to family or loved ones, I would do whatever it takes to help them.

The week of July 4th, my dad, Joey Miles, fractured his foot running to his car one night when it was raining at work. That fracture became a massive sore on his left foot. He has been going to the wound clinic for treatment. He also went to UAB to have part of the bad tissue removed. His foot is having a hard time healing. My dad is also diabetic, which makes things more complicated.

He went to the doctor yesterday, and the doctor gave him 3 options: 1. Oxygen treatment (he's confined in a room for 3 hours, 5 days a week); 2. He wears a cast for 6 months and takes antibiotics; 3. They remove part of his foot, including his big toe.

My dad does not know how to stop working. He is very stubborn and does not want to fall behind and lose everything he has worked so hard to earn. If everyone donated $5 or $10 each, that would help in such an awesome way! My goal is to pay at least one or two months' worth of his bills so that he can take the time he needs off to heal.
