Joey Johnson the neighborhood hero and friend

Once again my husband and I are reaching out for people's help with our friend Joey whom so many of you know already. Some of you may know that he went to California last week to do one of his bucket list and watch a live Seahawks game that morning he ended up in the hospital where he had somehow ruptured the tumor in his throat and it was bleeding in his lungs so he spent some time at the hospital down in California and of course it's out of network with insurance. So when he made it back he got right into St Charles where he spent almost a week on antibiotics and a bunch of testing they have found a blood clot in his leg and he goes up on the 1st to Portland to determine when they will be taking the cancer out which will leave Joey permanently never talking again. This man is on his third round of cancer and like many others he has a fixed income, since he's been down and sick almost 9 months now he has not been able to do the side jobs he was making money for. With multiple medical bills coming in we have been doing the best we can to help out and I think now it's time that we can all together try to take care of the members of our families, Friends, and Community that we love as God intended. Joey is having an extremely hard time and Lois of not knowing how they're going to pay the next bill or how's it going to get to Portland for surgery or how he's going to get firewood to keep his fur babies and Lois warm on the days he's not home. We do not know where all of this is going and I pray that Joey does come through and that he's with us a lot longer but we all have that fear we can't deny it. I'm asking all the neighbors if you could please share this with everybody you know and help Joey reach the goal that would be a small cushion to help them get through these difficult times for him and his family.
