Joe and Mindy's adoption
Thank you for visiting our page! We are adopting! Our home study is nearly complete and the next step of the process is to have the funds ready to be matched with birth parents! Our agency that we are using is in Ohio and we have decided on doing a domestic newborn adoption. We have already invested thousands into starting the process including our home study but even after that, the extra cost is around 22k+.
For those who do not know us or do not know what led us here, we want to share our story with you! We have been married for 10 years! We met online (not a dating site but just plain old facebook haha) and shortly after meeting Mindy, Joe proposed and we married three months later. We knew that we were made to be together, and that God brought us together. There was no way we would have met otherwise. These last ten years have flown by! We have attended our church for over seven years. Both sides of our family are very supportive with us choosing adoption. We both have been pro-life our entire lives, so adoption is our obvious choice when investing money into growing our family. We had two miscarriages the last few years. The last pregnancy we had was difficult. Mindy's tube ruptured and she had an emergency surgery to remove one of her tubes. The doctor said that we were good to go and if we got pregnant again, there should be no reason for any other complications.
We have prayed a ton and God really led us to adoption. Medically there was many options (and much cheaper options) to grow our family. We had plans to maybe adopt later on in life but we know God has called us here to adopt now. We have been trusting in Him this entire process. We want others to see God through us during this adoption.
Thank you for anything you can give to help us on this journey towards starting our family. We are so excited and have been praying for our future child and the birth mom. Adoption is something we can not afford on our own and we believe that God will help us provide. Anything you give, no matter how small, it makes a big difference.
