Joe Kasper - fighting brain cancer since 2011

In 2011, our friend, son, brother, husband and stepfather, Joe Kasper, was diagnosed with stage 3 Gioblastoma (brain cancer). After a six hour surgery removing a tumor the size of a small lemon, he then endured 37 straight days of radiation and chemotherapy. The cancer was in remission for three years and then aggressively returned. He has since had four additional craniotomies, numerous rounds of chemotherapy and gamma knife radiation. Recently he was told by the doctors at Roswell Park that the tumor is back and is in an area that is inoperable at this time. He was referred to a hospital outside of WNY and is seeking additional treatment. He is unable to work and is in the beginning stage of the disability process.
