Joe Giacoletti Medical Needs

Hello everyone, my name is Dean and I'm one of Joe's brothers. I'm reaching out to you all to ask for help for Joe.

Joe has spent over 20 years serving the people of Thomas Township as a firefighter/EMT. A lot of you knew him as Firefighter Joe. It was a job he absolutely loved doing. Now, I'm asking that we return the favor to the guy that sacrificed so much for his community, and help him in a time of need.

For those of you that don't know, Joe has some major medical issues he's been dealing with. Starting in 2021, Joe had to have a quadruple bypass surgery. While recovering from that surgery, Joe came down with COVID and had to spend some more time in the hospital. While in the hospital, it was found that Joe's kidneys were failing. Joe is now in stage 4 kidney failure and needs a kidney transplant. Joe is currently going to dialysis 3 days a week. On top of all of this, Joe lost his job as a firefighter.

On a brighter note, my sister Heidi has been approved to be a kidney donor for Joe. Thank you Heidi!
