Hi, my name is Nikita.
I am here today to raise funds for my dad Joe,
For anyone who knows our dad knows as stubborn as he is the man who never asks for help but the man to throw his hand up and be the first one to help.
He is the most selfless person, & would take the shirt off his back to ensure you stayed warm.
Tonight my dad lost everything he owned. All his belongings, and the little place he called his home. his first reaction was to run and try save his beloved stamps and coin collection but the smoke was to much.
He & others managed to push his car away from the fire as it consumed everything he had left to his name. Tonight he stays with our sister, with no where to call home and only the clothes on his back.
Now whilst we are so very lucky once checked over by the ambulance crew that he was okay its still shattering to loose your possessions.
We hope to be able to raise funds to be able to get our dad back on his feet again. With donations of clothes shoes or funds we will hopefully be able to gain him accomidation (in this tough time) or to be able to purchase a caravan for the time being. To be able to allow keys to be re programmed to his car so he is able to drive it again (lost in fire)
being 66 years old he will never be able to accumulate the things he has lost but to help him a little is helping him more than you would imagine.
This is a small solution without proper rental agreements and the out roar on overloaded houses it will be near impossible to get housing or a rental property agreement due to my fathers age and circumstance.
Everyone knows how stubborn our dad is and never reaches out for help, he just helps others to the extreme.
Please help our family stress less, everyone's battling their own financial hardships but every dollar counts towards goals and purchases I can make on my fathers behalf.
