My name is Ariel, and I'm asking for your help on behalf of my family and my children.

On 4/11/2023, our family was blindsided by a call that would break us to pieces. A call informing us that our sister, JoAnna Speaks, who is a daughter and a mother of three, was found deceased.

I broke the news to her two boys- Juan (13), and Braxton (12)- while her daughter, Meilani (7) was informed by her father. It was one of the most difficult and heart-wrenching things we've ever had to do.

JoAnna's passing is ruled a homicide, being murdered in an unknown location with her body dumped on an abandoned property near a run-down barn.

We are asking for any donations, no matter how small, to go towards the cost of her cremation and burial- we were not prepared for such an expense financially, especially with it being so sudden and unexpected. Her children have made it clear that they would like to keep a piece of her with them, but also have a place to visit where her name and life will be engraved and never forgotten; We're hoping that we can at least give them that. *Please see UPDATES for additional information*

JoAnna is survived by her three children, her parents/step-parents, three biological siblings, four step-siblings, three nieces, and one nephew.

She would've been celebrating her 33rd birthday on 4/28/2023. We hope to provide her service on or near this date. Her Celebration of Life will be held 4/30/23 at 3:30pm (Please reach out to Robyn or Ariel for location)- We ask that only those who knew and loved JoAnna attend as this is not a public event, but a gathering of love and grieving for those who have had a piece of their heart and soul taken away when she was killed.
