JMJ Pregnancy Center Computer System Upgrade
Tax deductible
Hello, my name is Evan Leiss. I am a life scout at Troop 787 in Winter Springs Florida. I am currently fundraising for my Eagle Scout project to support a local pregnancy center named JMJ (Jesus, Mary, Joseph).
JMJ is a pregnancy center that provides options to abortion minded parents with unplanned pregnancies and guides them on the path to parenthood. The organization provides services such as ultrasounds to mothers during pregnancy and counseling to mothers and fathers. After the mother gives birth, the organization provides food, supplies (diapers, beds, baby carriers, etc.), and counseling for the first year of the child’s life. Last year JMJ convinced over 700 moms to choose life.
JMJ currently operates in 3 facilities to serve women in Orange and Osceola County. The computer systems at these 3 facilities are extremely outdated and keeps JMJ from helping as many women as they can. The employees switch facilities every day and most of the computers don’t have what is needed to operate this non profit.
My project will be updating this pregnancy computer system and standardizing all computers so that employees can change facilities seamlessly every day. JMJ was donated 14 MacBook Minis From Bishop Moore High School and my Project will be purchasing the monitors, keyboards, mouses, and installing them in JMJ’s facilities.
I am reaching out to the community to ask for any support possible. If you are unable to donate, I would appreciate you spreading the word and sharing the fundraiser. Thank you for your time.
