As voted by the JLR Halewood Employees. This year's nominated Charity of the Year is Elsie's Story.
This special trust has been set up in memory of Elsie Dot Stancombe, who tragically lost her life in the Southport attacks in July 2024. Elsie’s Story has been established with the principle objective of making grants to causes in Elsie's name. Over the next six to 12 months, the primary focus will be on raising funds to support the growth and impact of the charity.
Elsie is the beloved niece of Jason Armitage, Press Shop Group Leader, who put this incredible trust forward for Halewood’s Charity of the Year. He said: "I was overwhelmed when I received the email confirming that Elsie's Story had been selected for Charity of the Year. I honestly can't put into words how much this means to me and my family. I want to sincerely thank everyone who voted — your support is invaluable.
