J&K's Fund for Asheville Area Support

Hey - Kady & James, here. We've been asked by our amazing friends and family across the world for ways to contribute to help support the Asheville and surrounding communities as we deal with the devastating impacts, catastrophic damages and emergency situation that has transpired since Hurricane Helene ripped through our area. We've started this GoFundMe to collect donations. These funds will be given to individuals and families (many of whom are in the service industry and/or art community) who are having a hard time accessing government aide and are unemployed due to damages resulting from Hurricane Helene. This is making it difficult or impossible for them to cover basic living necessities at this time. These amazing people are working hard to provide food and water to those in need, as well as cleaning up the city to prepare for the next phase of the recovery process. We are receiving a ton of support here in Asheville and we'd like to focus on those that are not benefiting from this support, but doing the hard work to support the most marginal communities at this time. While physical donations are aplenty, what we need now are funds. These individuals and families need our help. Please send whatever you can and we will route funds to the right places that will provide the most impact.
