At her 16 weeks of pregnancy, my sister found out they were having a baby boy. He was diagnosed with Trisomy 21, Down Syndrome, when she had prenatal genetic testing done. Jeremiah was born on February 6, 2020 with a rare form of congenital heart defect that affects one to two children per year in the United States. Currently his residence is at a Dallas hospital in the Pediatric Cardiac ICU and he has been there since birth. He is now 5 months old. My sister has been a stay-at-home mom since having my niece, Aaliyah, who is now three years old. For the last 5 months, my sister and BIL have been staying at a hotel in order to be close to Jeremiah's hospital; which is a 2 hour drive from home. My BIL has managed to work three days per week. However, since Jeremiah's health has been more critical the last 3 weeks; he hasn't been working in order to be there to support my sister emotionally and help with my niece. I'm asking for many prayers for Jeremiah and my family; but also for any donation you can help with during this overwhelming time.
