Supporting The Frosts Family through the loss of their Dan
Donation protected
Hello, and thank you for visiting this GoFundMe page.
If you don’t know me, I’m Jeannie—Karen’s sister. I live in Canada and have created this fundraiser to support my sister Karen, her husband Ian, their daughter Leanne and husband Matt as they navigate the heartbreaking loss of their beloved son and brother, Daniel.
On November 11, 2024, 6 months ago today, our beloved Daniel unexpectedly passed away at the young age of 32. The heartbreak this family has experienced is beyond words, and they continue to face each day with overwhelming grief.
As time goes on, it can be difficult to know how to keep supporting someone who is grieving. Life moves forward, and even with the best intentions, we sometimes don’t know what to say or do. That’s why I wanted to set up this "GoFundMe" so Karen, Ian, Leanne, and Matt know they are still very much in our thoughts, and that we want to keep supporting them in any way we can.
While no amount of money can ease the pain they’re going through, your support can help lighten some of the financial weight they now face. Whether it’s a bit of time away, help with everyday meals or the weekly shop, or access to therapeutic services, any donations will go straight to them to use in whatever way feels right.
At this time, my sister and her family are not yet aware of this fundraiser. I’ve chosen to set it up on her behalf as a gesture of love and care, in the hopes of easing even a small part of what she’s going through. I understand they may feel uncomfortable with this kind of public support, but I believe the kindness of others can be a powerful expression of community and compassion in moments of deep grief.
The funds will go directly to Karen and her family in the UK and will be released in larger monthly installments rather than smaller, frequent amounts—so the support can be more impactful and manageable.
Thank you for all the love, kind messages, and support so far—it truly means the world to them.
With love,
Jeannie (a.k.a. Auntie Jeannie)
