Cunningham Adoption

Our family started the process of adoption in July of 2022. Cory and I have had the desire to adopt since before we were married but the Lord chose to bless us with three beautiful children before bringing adoption into our lives. On the evening of September 18th (which happens to be our oldest son's birthday), we got a call that a young woman chose our family to give her daughter to. I couldn't begin to put into words the unbelievable honor that is. We will be headed to California in a few short weeks when she goes into labor to meet our daughter for the first time and we are filled with so many emotions. As I type this, tears come to my eyes thinking of that moment. The Lord has been so gracious to us to allow this to be part of our story and I'm eager to see what He has planned. Many of you have asked how you can support our family in this time and our first request would be to pray! If that's all you can do then please know, that's the best gift you could give to us. But I know that many of you have wanted to help in a more tangible way and since we already have all the baby items we need from our other kiddos, this seemed the next best option. I do want to address the fundraising goal as it might seem quite high. We truly have zero expectation that this goal would be met! We really just wanted to have a platform for giving as many of you have asked for how you might help our family in this time. To be honest, the number is quite arbitrary as the goal set is only a small fraction of the total cost. But we aren't worried about that. As we've said previously, the Lord has provided thus far and we know that He will continue to provide. Thank you for even considering giving financially to support our family.
