Hi my name is Fiona and I have the greatest gift to be friends with JJ and Charlie Hughes and their beautiful daughters Sophia and Jess. Charlie and I have been best friends since we met at school when we were 10 years old.

JJ is a small business owner working as a general contractor. Charlie is also a small business owner as a Holistic Therapist and Menopausal wellness mentor.

72 hours ago. JJ was listed as a missing person. The police and family couldn’t find him. After 12 hrs they found him and he had suffered a sudden brain bleed which resulted in a stroke. He was alone at work and unable to call for help.

He is currently in Dorchester Hospital in the stroke unit working with the doctors to try and get himself well.

In the meantime Charlie is shouldering the burden of bills, medical liaison and carer which has resulted in her unable to continue her business. JJ was the main income provider.

They have 2 girls who are just wonderful young ladies trying to cope.

I wanted to try and raise some money to try and help Charlie pay important expenses like rent and food while JJ is recovering. This would maybe help her and lessen some of the burden for awhile.
