Mambo,

We are Kiera, Rosa, Simone and Jet, and we are currently supporting the Jitambue Community Center in Arusha, Tanzania as Volunteers.

Jitambue is a Daycare, pre-school and after-school- care Center in the poorest area of Arusha.

The founder Eli offers the children protection from a life in the dangerous streets of the slums, which is marked by violence, alcoholism, crime and drugs.

In Jitambue the children are given the opportunity to learn first-skills and prepare for school in a safe environment. In addition Jitambue ensures two meals a day for every child.

Since school fees can rarely be paid by the parents, Jitambue relies on donations. We are currently raising funds specifically for:

* the salaries of the teachers

* food for the coming month

* hygiene products such as hand soap

* additional chairs for the classrooms

With every donation, a child is given the opportunity to learn, explore new things, and play in a safe environment — to simply be a child.

We will be here on site and can see firsthand how your support directly benefits the children.

Every Contribution counts and makes a difference! Asante sana, thank you for you support!
