This July, I’ll be travelling with over 10 volunteers from County Clare to Jinja, Uganda, to support some amazing projects that are close to our hearts.

We are currently fundraising to build a new dormitory for 100 deaf children at Walukuba West Primary School. This dormitory will provide these children with a safe, supportive place to live and learn—something many of us take for granted.

While in Uganda, we will also volunteer with Rays of Hope Hospice, Jinja, offering support to patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. In addition, we’ll be coaching with Africa’s newest G.A.A. Club – Nile Óg Cusack, promoting sport, teamwork, and community spirit among local youth.

All flights and personal expenses are covered by the volunteers themselves—so every donation goes directly to the projects.
