We, the nieces of Jimmy Burden are starting this GO FUND ME account for our uncle . In 1983

he recieved an egregious sentence of 60-100years for robbing 2 people of 9.00 each, while posing as a parking attendant.

Thru GOD's grace and mercy, he was linked with the The Roderick&Solange Macarthur Justice Center, Michael Thompson Clemency Project, and the University of MIchigan Sentence Commutation Project. These 3 organizations collaborated to advocate for his commutation. They worked dilligently to get this case before Governor Whitmer. Thankfully Governor Whitmer saw fit to grant him parole. He is due to re-enter society March 14, 2023.

Two generations of his family have died awaiting his release: HIS parents and siblings. He never had a wife or children. He is supported by three nieces who are all senior citizens. Please help us support his re-entry to society. He has no things and will need all things. We humbly ask for any support, any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
