I think most of us living on Catalina Island and many up and down the coast of California have met Jim and seen his 64’ schooner Courage.

Jim lived on his boat Courage for 11 years while bartending and boat captain in Avalon.

Jim has been a part of the Catalina community for many decades.

Several weeks ago during the Tropical Storm, Jim’s boat and home were lost with everything he owned on board.

We’re putting this go fund me request to help Jim get back on his feet.

We all know or can imagine the devastation, psychological and otherwise that losing everything you own can do to a person.

Please let’s help one of our own. A guy who has helped many boaters and friends anytime and always.
