Jim Nevin's What Makes Your Heart Smile Project

I created this page on behalf of my dad, Jim Nevin, who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor.

After his diagnosis, he began asking people what makes your heart smile? He then started compiling responses to that question and asked me to help him gather more entries through this page. An example from him is included below.

We will help Dad publish responses in a booklet he wants to share with his extensive community. Donations here will support printing and mailing booklet copies. If you would like a copy, please enter your address on this form.

Any funds collected beyond the printing costs will be donated to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dad’s surgeon trained at this center, and donations benefit cancer patients across many regions by supporting innovative patient care, research, education, and prevention programs.

We have been overwhelmed by the support from our community and are so grateful. While we welcome outreach to our family, please understand our capacity to respond may be limited.
