WARRIOR 62

On September 1st, 2023, Tim Gilbertson and Mark Seibold are participating in a 62 mile ruck, that we have managed and coordinated, from Madison, WI to Freeport, IL. The event is called "WARRIOR 62". We are working with a K-Cancer Baseball NFP that gives support to childhood cancer families in the surrounding Rockford, IL area. The Rockford IL area does not have the capability locally to provide specialty care for the cancer kids. The cancer families here in Rockford IL and the surrounding area must travel to American Family Children's Hospital in Madison WI or Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago IL for treatments, which is taxing and costly on cancer families. My goal is to raise funds to help support K Cancer NFP with needed resources to offset costs associated with hotels, gas, travel, food, preparing the homes for newly diagnosed kids to be suitable for them to come home, helping around the holidays with gifts for the teammates and siblings and so much more. More information about K Cancer Baseball NFP: Families who are battling Childhood Cancer in our local area have to travel outside of the community for treatment. This causing a host of problems layered on top of the monster of fighting cancer in your child. We provide support based on the need of the family, every family is different. One of the unique things about our organization is that it is "Youth Led". We train the athletes of K Cancer Baseball & Softball in business concepts and have them involved in running every area of the organization.
