Hello. My name is Taylor Worley. I am the granddaughter of Faye Clifton. On Thursday, 6/13/24, she lost her home of 61 years due to a house fire. Her and my grandfather built this home when they first got married 61 years ago and has built a lifetime of memories. My grandfather passed away in 1997 and since then, it has just been her. She continues to help each and every one of us, no matter how big or small. She has raised her children, myself and my other two sisters, and now two great grandchildren at 86 years old. She is brokenhearted and I have never seen this woman cry tears of hurt besides at my Grandfathers funeral. When one of the great granddaughters offered to take her shopping to get clothes and necessities for her, her words were “don’t worry about me; Wesley has nothing.” This is the kind of woman that she is and has always been my entire life. She sees that everyone else is taken care of before herself. Everything was lost in this home (material wise) but we are so very grateful and thankful they are all safe!! We are asking first and foremost, to say a prayer for her and the family. That would be greatly appreciated and needed more than anything. If you are able to donate any monetary donation; no amount being too small, I know that she would be more than thankful, blessed, and humbled by your kindness. She is on a fixed monthly income and not much to spare, as you could probably imagine. The family is doing all that they can, but they are limited in their abilities as well. Thank you for your prayers and your support in this much needed time.
