Help Morgan & Jenna Bring Baby Jameson Home

A few weeks ago, my best friend Morgan and her wife Jenna faced every parent’s worst nightmare. Jenna was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia at only 28 weeks pregnant; her blood pressure was dangerously high, and she was at risk for seizures or a stroke. After trying everything to keep both Jenna and the baby safe, her body just couldn’t take it anymore. At only 29 weeks, they had to deliver their little boy, Jameson, by emergency C-section. Jameson came into this world fighting with every ounce of strength he had, weighing just 3 lbs 6 oz, and amazed everyone by breathing on his own at first. But that night, his tiny lungs started to struggle, and he had to be intubated and transferred to a children’s hospital. Since then, he’s continued to show incredible strength and progress every single day. Jenna is finally home and healing, but the journey to get Jameson home is far from over. Morgan unfortunately has to return to work, driving 45 minutes each way to see their baby in the NICU, and juggling life in between, all while keeping everything running at home. On top of that, their daughter goes to her dad’s every weekend, which adds more travel and expenses. It’s exhausting, emotionally and financially, but they’re doing it all out of love for their little family. Anyone who knows Morgan and Jenna knows they are the kind of people who would give you the shirt off their back without ever asking for help in return. They’ve worked hard for everything they have, and it’s not easy for them to accept help, so I’m asking for them. Every donation, no matter how small, will go toward gas for hospital trips, medical bills, and baby essentials for when Jameson finally gets to come home, where his big sister and big brother can finally meet him, hold him, and welcome him the way every new baby deserves.
