Help A Family Remain In Their Home, Please.

Help us remain in our home.
We understand that many people are struggling in today's economy and don't like asking for help. But, we really do need help. It's kind of embarrassing. But we have faced tremendous obstacles, and don’t want to risk losing our home, IF it comes to that. That’s why we started this account in order to keep that from happening. My wife and I have finally bought our first home. It took much stress, many years and strain, but we accomplished the goal that we set out to achieve so many years ago. This goal could not have been achieved without the help from my wife's mother, who unfortunately passed before any of this was accomplished. Unfortunately, fixing and repairing came a lot sooner than we were prepared for and it has strained us considerably. As soon as we got into our home, there were multiple thunderstorms with heavy rain that transpired. In addition, one thing that is very imperative, was missed during the inspection underneath of the cook top. For example, we've had a major gas leak that had to be fixed which also forced us to replace our stove. We've had to replace the breaker box and update electrical wiring to be up to code. Due to the storms previously mentioned, we had to have a tree cut down because it was a threat to damaging our house/roof, as well as our next door neighbor's house. We never thought that cutting down a tree was so expensive. The storms forced us to cut one down, urgently. We may need to cut down a few more, eventually.

We are trying to maintain as best we can, but due to all of the urgent repairs needed, all at once, SO soon, we've fallen behind financially, and it is a steep uphill climb to get back to status quo. We are trying to catch up on everything so that we don’t end up having to go through the foreclosure process. We fear that if we can’t raise this money, that is what will happen. With the holidays approaching, it’s causing us so much stress and worry. We are not there at this time, but if we don’t make payments in a timely manner and get caught up on everything else, we most certainly will be. We are trying to make payments in a timely manner. But because we had to put out so much money all at once for all of the urgent repairs, it drained us financially. Both my wife and I are seeking 2nd jobs and will possibly need 3rd jobs, with no luck yet, just to keep up which is going to further strain the little time we have to dedicate to our children and their school related activities. We are asking for as much assistance as able and to share this with as many people as possible. We don’t want to ever risk losing our home. This goal of 5,000 dollars will help us tremendously in getting back to where we need to be, financially. It will also allow us to remain in our home. We also don’t want to have to take our son out of his marching band, as the dues for him to remain are very costly. We will appreciate any help that we can get. It’s hard asking for help. But life happens, and things get hard sometimes and sometimes we all need a helping hand. If you are unable to donate, can you please share it with your friends and people who you may know.

Thanking you all in advance! We are still grateful regardless of the situation or our outcome. God is still good! Thank you for taking the time out to read about our story.
