Malina Rogoff is facing an unimaginable and heartbreaking loss. On November 19, 2025, her partner and father of their unborn baby, Sexton was brutally murdered. The murder is unsolved and under investigation.

Sexton was only 25 years old, and his sudden tragic passing has left Malina, and her family devastated as they try to navigate this difficult time. Sexton and Malina just recently discovered they were expecting a child. Sexton was Malina’s support, both financially and emotionally, but also the love of her life, and the person she was building a future with. He had a generous heart and willingness to help others, often saying that what he gave to help others, he only hoped would be returned in kindness.

At the time of this tragedy, Malina was finishing school and working towards a new career, striving to contribute to a solid future for their family. Now, she is preparing to welcome their baby into the world without Sexton by her side, facing this unconceivable tragedy and challenges of single motherhood with strength and determination, although presently the path feels overwhelming.

The funds raised will help provide Malina with help with cremation expenses, memorial service honoring Sexton and related expenses, grief counseling, support through this difficult time, medical and prenatal expenses, current living expenses, and for caring for the baby for the first few months. This support will help Malina focus on healing, finishing her education, support while starting a new career and building a future for herself and her unborn baby, without Sexton by her side.
