Jesus, a father of 3 children, including an 18 year old autistic boy, a 10 year old boy and a 5 year old daughter. Jesus and his brother were walking to work when they were approached by a group of ICE agents looking for another person but they were detained and put through the rabbit hole of immigrant detention.

Jesus was quickly moved to different places finally landing in San Diego where due to the horriffic detention conditions he signed his rights away in order to be deported as quickly as possible.

This past Saturday, Jesus was deported to Mexico and we are providing support and guidance.

His wife and 3 children are also being supported by a Staten Island rapid response group and are planning to return to Mexico as soon as possible to be able to reunite with their father. This will require covering the costs of returning and resources to be able to re-start their life in Mexico City

We are calling everyone to support this family, chipping in with anything you can in the long road ahead for this family. They will need to adjust to their new life and we want you to be a part of this process.

Solidarity does not stop at the border. Let’s make sure the harrowing impact of deportations on immigrant families do not go unnoticed.
