Jessup Fire - Victim Fund - Barscheski Family

Hello, my name is Adam. On April 15th, and well into the morning of April 16th my Mother Jo Ann lost our family home of more than 40 years to a large fire. This fire destroyed 3 homes in a matter of minutes and has left 2 families displaced for what is likely to be many months if not more than a year.

One of the men (my brother Patrick) involved is active United States Air Force and because of him, everyone got out alive. He lost many of his belongings in this fire. Jo Ann is partially disabled due to a stroke, he was visiting for the week to help her. He saw the flames out the window and quickly rushed her out of the house, as well as making sure all the pets were safely outside. Only then did he realize everything he brought with him was on fire, and he was not wearing any shoes.

My brother Josh has lived in that house for nearly 40 years and has spent many of those years caring for Jo Ann. He lost everything except for literally the clothes he had on his back that night. He is engaged to be married in 1 month with plans of moving his new family into the home to continue care of his mother. He and his fiance have a 10-year-old daughter.

We appreciate anything that anyone can donate. All of my mother's, and brother's clothing and possessions have been destroyed, and they truly have very very little right now. In addition, our beloved 4 dogs and 4 cats made it out safely and will need supplies (food, beds, etc). The dogs eat "Taste of the wild with grains".
