I am honored you are visiting this page. I'm currently a 4th year student studying architecture at Texas Tech University. After graduating in May, I will be taking a gap year before returning to earn my masters. I have been given the opportunity to intern at Engineering Ministries International (EMI) between May and August.

EMI is a Christian non-profit organization whose volunteers design and engineer projects for ministries on a global scale. They are able to offer incredibly discounted rates of service because of the community support and funding that their team raises. I will be contributing to architecture projects at a local partner office in Egypt. The role I will play consists of collecting information, creating architectural drawings, and collaborating with ministry clients. What drew me to EMI is their focus on God and his mission. This is an organization that focuses on my architectural skills as well as my relationship with God. 
"ايه أم أي" هيئة مسيحية غير هادفة للربح والمتطوعين فيها بيصمموا ويرسموا مشروعات لهيئات وكنائس محلية على مستوى العالم. الهيئة دي بتقدم خدماتها بأسعار تقريباً رمزية بسبب الدعم المادي والتبرعات اللي بيجمعها فريق العمل والمتطوعين. خلال فترة تطوعي هكون بشتغل مع الفريق الموجود في مصر ووقتي هيكون متوزع بين جمع المعلومات الخاصة بالمشروعات الهندسية، تصميم الرسومات ومقابلات مع ممثلين الهيئات  والخدمات. اللي شدني لهيئة "ايه أم أي" أنها خدمة بتركز على ربنا وعلى الإرسالية اللي دعانا ليها وشغلي معاهم هيساعدني  أطور من مهاراتي في مجال الهندسة المعماري وكمان اشتغل على علاقتي بربنا

After that I'm attending Capernwray Bible School in England. It is an immersive education that spans the course of 6 months. During that time we will read, analyze and understand the Old Testament. I want to gain a better understanding of the bible and improve the relationship I have with God. I look forward to being surrounded by others who are actively seeking knowledge, wisdom, and growth. For those 9 months, my goal is to foster good relationships with people and serve them in any way I can.
بعد كدا هحضر مدرسة للكتاب المقدس في انجلترا ودي هتبقى دراسة متعمقة لمدة ست شهور هندرس فيها العهد القديم وهدفي خلال الوقت دا  أني أدرس كلمة ربنا وأشتغل على علاقتي معاه. أد أيه أنا مشتاقة أني أبقى متحاوطة بناس هدفهم أنهم يطلبوا ربنا بجد ويكبروا في معرفتهم بيه. حلمي أني خلال التسع شهور دول أعمل صداقات حلوة مع ناس كتير وأخدمهم بأي طريقة أقدر أخدمهم بيها

This process is humbling; The preparation associated with this experience and knowing I need support from people I love gives me greater perspective. Support comes in many forms such as prayer, encouragement, and financial help. The funds needed will cover travel expenses, internship and school fees, and insurance. More than that I would ask that you pray for an impactful experience filled with pursuit, growth, and friendship.
