My name is Jessica, and I am reaching out because my family and I are facing an incredibly difficult time. Recently, there was a fire at the storage unit facility Orchard and Barclay in Milwaukee, WI in Jaunuary and on April 6th a second fire occurred inside the building where I have a storage unit. This has been a very tough time. We could not believe it when we heard there was another fire with in a few months. Our life was stored there and in a matter of hours, it was all lost. We did not have insurance, so the loss is total and overwhelming.

I work as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. All the stuff we had took me years to accumulate. All the negative opinion is not needed. There are a lot of bad people out there who do scam and do try to get free money but Im not one of them. Just keep your harsh comments to yourself and don't donate then. Your harsh words are not needed. Like I said this has been very hard on me and my family.

The items in that storage unit were more than just things—they were the essentials that made up our daily lives, as well as memories and keepsakes that can never be replaced. Now, we are left with the challenge of starting over from scratch, trying to rebuild and replace what we can.

Many of the items in the photos look horrible and people think are just old and beat up and thats not the case. Of course the items look like that now, the items have soot and water damage in the photos. Items in plastic bags were melted to pillows and stuffed animals. The plastic bags were literally melted to the items. Of course everything looks old and gross now. That's why I set up a GoFundMe, to help replace items.

I have received negative messages reguarding the amount of my Go Fund Me and proof but I was only able to get so many photos I could as being in there so long made it hard to breath amd our hands were covered in soot.

Watch the videos in the YouTube link from the day of the fire. This is what the news doesn't show you.....

Items we lost a brand new washer and dryer valued at $3000.

We also lost an entire bunk bed set that was our sons due to the water damaging the wood valued at $2000.

We lost $9500 in small business inventory for Poshmark.

We lost multiple wood book shelfs, a dresser, and an armorie due to the water damage in the wood.

As well as 2 boxes of shoes and all of our summer clothes, all of of sons toys, 2 A/C units and unfortunately memories that can't be replaced. And much more...

I am asking for support during this hard time of loss. Any help you can offer will go directly toward replacing the items that were destroyed in the fire and helping my family and me get back on our feet. Your kindness and generosity would mean the world to us as we work to recover from this devastating event.

Thank you
