Hi, my name is Jess. I’ve been a veterinary technician for 21 years up until recently when I could no longer perform at my best ability due to breaking my ankle back in April of 2024. Still, I push my body day in and day out, literally walking about on a broken ankle. After a year of not an ounce of healing, my doctor decided to do surgery then. Needless to say, I haven’t been able to work. I’ve fallen into a deep depression because my job was my life, the animals my purpose, and now it’s gone. I have 80 cents to my name, so I can’t pay the bills. I’m filing for disability, which can take a while, which is why I’m asking for help. Even the smallest donation will make a huge difference.
