My name is Mariah, and five years ago I applied for a nanny position for a beautiful family of three, Lia, Jesse, and Asher. At the time, Asher was a couple of months old, while Jesse was only 2. Jesse is and has always been a bright and loving child who enjoys building Legos, swimming, and playing with his baby brother Asher. Jesse has moved mountains on his journey to overcoming obstacles he has faced and continues to do so with his smile and infectious laugh. On Thursday 08/07, Jesse took a hard fall when playing in the park, sustaining a serious injury to his patella and will be undergoing a serious operation of an open reduction and internal fixation of his patella on 08/12. It involves surgically exposing the fracture, realigning the bone fragments, and stabilizing them with implants like screws or plates. Lia, Jesse’s super-mom, is a single mom of two beautiful boys who has faced many hardships, including. Her strength speaks volumes, as she continues to be superwoman for her boys. We are reaching out to you today because the cost of Jesse’s surgery and recovery will be a significant financial burden on Lia, and I want to ensure she receives the support she needs to support her boys during this time.
