Carrie and Jesse Fredericks were extremely surprised to discover that she was pregnant with quadruplets. Not only is it very rare, but they had been trying to have a baby for a long time and didn’t think they could even have one, let alone multiples. They were excited but terrified and they ultimately made the decision to do everything they could to give these babies the best chance. They have faced many challenges so far, as Carrie’s pregnancy is extremely high risk for both her and the babies. As they get closer to bringing these babies earthside, they have many more challenges to face. They will need to be off work for some time to meet the needs of 4 medically fragile premature babies. They will need to acquire a vehicle big enough to transport their new family of 7, along with 4 times the amount of baby gear, diapers, and clothes. They will also face all the associated medical expenses.
