Jess & Erica's IVF Journey

Hi Family & Friends,

As many of you know, we have been on our TTC (trying to conceive) fertility journey since September 2022. Thank you all for being so excited, interested, and supportive of us along the way.

To date we have spent $28,000 on fertility expenses. This has covered our donor vials, lab test & procedures, medications, and 4 rounds of IUI cycles (intrauterine insemination). Unfortunately our 4 IUI cycles have been unsuccessful. Because of this we are now making the decision to switch over to IVF (In vitro fertilization) as this approach has a higher success rate for a pregnancy. With the higher success rate comes higher expenses.

Our IVF expenses total $46,700. This covers egg retrieval, embryo creation, testing, embryo transfer, anesthesia for procedures, and our injection medications.

Sadly insurance does not cover any of this process for us. We have been working hard to cover the costs ourselves, but with the additional IVF expenses, we have reached a road block.

We have started this go fund me, because friends have encouraged us to do so. We feel reluctant in asking for help, but also are realistic in knowing the financial hardship this is putting us in. Any support helps - we truly mean that.

We both feel incredibly fortunate to have this opportunity to have a family together, and we are working hard to continue to make this a reality, while remaining as hopeful and positive as we can.
