Jersey’s Emergency Medical Fund

On Friday 10/01/2021 our coworker, Erika got the phone call that no mother wants to receive. That her daughter, Jersey (11) was hit by a car while waiting for the bus.

She became trapped under the car for at least 15 minutes. Her father worked fast and retrieved a jack to lift the car, so that Jersey could be freed. She has a broken leg with several fractures and severe road rash. As of now she is stable, but they are having a hard time with controlling her pain.

They said it’s a miracle she’s alive and that they think her book bag is what saved her life. In her book bag was her iPad that has a heavy duty case on it. They think that the iPad took the impact and protected her spine. We are coming together to try and take as much of the financial burden off of Erika and Jason and their beautiful family during this incredibly stressful time. Please continue to pray for Jersey and her recovery, as there is a long road ahead.

All of the funds received will go straight toward Jersey’s medical bills, hospital parking fees, equipment needed for her recovery once she is home, etc.
