Our beloved Jerry Mike Tumala Collins passed away in March 2021 at the age of just 30 after a short battle with cancer. Everyone who knew Jerry knew how much he wanted to help other people. He regularly sent money back to the Philippines to support friends, family and neighbours, even in the months before his death.

In his memory, we are raising funds that will be used to distribute food parcels in Caloocan City, Manila, where Jerry grew up. Jerry felt very strongly about giving something back to his community and ran several previous fundraisers during the Covid-19 pandemic that made a real difference to their recipients and were greatly appreciated.

All donations will be collected in a UK bank account (belonging to Jerry's husband, Andrew Godfrey-Collins) and forwarded to Jerry's family in the Philippines after the funeral on 9 April 2021. The family will use the funds to buy food and other essentials, which they will then distribute to families in Caloocan. If we manage to raise enough, we may be able to set up a fund for a regular annual food programme.
