Jenny Crouch and her twins
Donation protected
Jenny Crouch is one of my best friends, along with the deserving titles of my “office wife”, my foodie partner and the person who gives me the best belly laughs with her fun and infectious laugh. Jenny has unfortunately gone through a heartbreaking situation recently.
Her soulmate, of over 20 years, Neil Atkin sadly passed away on 15 April 2025, after his two year battle with cancer. He leaves behind by my dear friend, Jenny and their toddler twins. During this incredibly stressful period of time, Jenny has also endured the uncertainty of losing her job.
Words cannot begin to describe her situation.
Being a young widow with toddler twins is not something she had expected so soon. With Neil’s gruelling treatments to fight cancer, there was a hope and optimism for a family future together, albeit a shorter one because of the cancer. But nevertheless, a family future and making memories together.
I’ve spoken with lots of colleagues about Jenny, giving updates when they have kindly asked. The vast majority have asked “if there is anything I can do, let me know”. A very thoughtful colleague (a huge thank you to Michelle Fildes) suggested a crowdfund to help Jenny and their twins out. Cost of living is expensive these days, even more so with such a young family. Funds raised here will helps towards their school holidays, clothing, and enrichment activities - both Ellen and Owen go to mini gymnastics and their cartwheels are coming along great!
If you’d like to help them along the way, please feel free to contribute to this crowdfund. It doesn’t matter how big or small your donation is, I know that Jenny and her twins will really appreciate your love, kindness and support for them.
