Friends - as you know, I have been selected by the Social Democrats to run in the General Election in Limerick City on February 8th. I am so pleased with the amount of people offering to help our positive, vibrant campaign.
I have worked, studied and lived in Limerick for the last 20 years and am proud to call it my home. I live in Limerick City with my wife, Ann, and work in The University of Limerick as a student support coordinator. I am passionate about equality, and have worked with many community based services and campaigns throughout Limerick.
I believe that politicians should be honest, hardworking and accountable to the people they represent. There are problems to be solved, but Limerick has overcome a lot and we are at our best when facing a challenge.
I want to prioritise compassionate politics and I want to my fight this campaign for you, your family, and our communities and make sure that Limerick stops being left behind by central government.
Elections are incredibly expensive, and the short nature of this campaign means that our team needs to raise money as quickly as possible to get the message out to everyone in Limerick. Please donate what you can, as every single donation counts and will be put to good use.
